Cookie lovers across Illinois can get their hands on discounted sweet treats today in honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.

Here's a breakdown of which brands are offering freebies and deals Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Insomnia Cookies is celebrating from July 31 through Aug. 4 with a buy-one, get-one-free offer across its Chocolate Chunk flavors, according to QSR Magazine. Eligible flavors include Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Chunk, Vegan Chocolate Chunk, Vegan Double Chocolate Chunk and Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Chip.

The offer is limited to one redemption per transaction and three redemptions per guests per day while supplies last. The deal only applies to in-store orders.

DoubleTree by Hilton is once again celebrating the holiday by offering complimentary chocolate chip cookies to all visitors on Aug. 4, no reservation required. An allergy-friendly version will also be available.

Made with freshly-squeezed lemon juice, the cookies are part of the hotel chain's annual tradition.

Tate's Bake Shop is offering 40% off all chocolate chip products on its website on Aug. 4. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
