Crumbl Cookies is offering a controversial new flavor that is available at its Tri-State stores.
The cookie topped with Flamin' Hot Cheetos sounds like a dare, but it's becoming one of TikTok's hottest food debates.
People curious about the odd concoction can try it at the Hagerstown store in Valley Mall, 17301 Valley Mall Road, or in Chambersburg at the Crumbl in BJ's Wholesale Club, 520 Gateway Avenue.
Crumbl's new Flamin' Lime Crunch Cookie, inspired by the spicy snack, has gone viral as creators post dramatically different reactions after taking a bite. Some reviewers have called it one of the bakery chain's worst creations ever, while others say the sweet, tangy and spicy combination works far better than expected.
The split response has fueled curiosity online. As videos rack up views, many users say the extreme reactions, from "-100/10" to "actually not bad," have convinced them to try the limited-time cookie themselves.

For plenty of creators, the flavor combo was a miss.
"I'm going to throw up. There's no way I just bit into that cookie and the Cheeto was stale. I'm calling the health department," one TikTok creator joked after trying it.
Another reviewer said the experience got worse after the first bite.
"First bite is okay until your mouth realizes what it just ate. If I hadn't eaten for two days and someone gave me that, I'm still not eating it."
One creator summed up their review with a blunt "-100/10," adding, "What are we doing?"
The reactions quickly spread across TikTok, where commenters questioned whether spicy cheese snacks belong in a dessert at all.
Not everyone walked away disappointed.
One creator admitted they expected to hate the cookie but came away impressed.
"Why is it actually not bad?" the reviewer said. "I was ready to talk badly about the cookie, but I don't hate it. The cream cheese balances out the Cheeto flavor."
Another reviewer offered a similar take.
"I know people are going to really want me to hate on this, but honestly, it's not that bad," they said. "Would it be my first choice of cookie? No, but it's not worthy of spitting out."
Those contrasting reviews have helped turn the cookie into a social media curiosity, with supporters praising its unexpected balance and critics calling it a gimmick that goes too far.
According to Crumbl, the cookie starts with a lime sugar cookie rolled in a spicy cheese crisp mixture. It's topped with cream cheese frosting, coated in a spicy cheese crisp streusel and finished with crunchy spicy cheese crisps and a fresh lime wedge.
The cookie was part of Crumbl's "Buckle Up" road trip-themed menu and was available through Aug. 1.
