The morning commute is going to be a little slower through Robertson County after a tractor trailer caught fire on Interstate 65.
A crash was reported just before 6:30 a.m. Aug. 4.
All northbound lanes are closed at the moment while the southbound left shoulder is blocked at mile marker 105 near Bethel Road.
"Avoid this area if possible," Tennessee Department of Transportation spokesperson Erin Zeigler said.
There is a detour in place at Exit 104, Zeigler said.
Smoke continued to pour from the scene at 7 a.m. with traffic backed up behind it. Several police and firefighters are on scene. Tennessee Department of Transportation road crews are on their way with a skid steer and backhow to clear the debris, Zeigler said.
It's unclear how the truck caught fire or how long the road may be closed.
