Philadelphia police have made an arrest in the case of a Northeast Philadelphia man who was killed nearly 12 years ago.
Vito Maglio, 69, was reported missing back in December 2014.
His SUV was found abandoned and torched on the 5800 block of N. Beachwood Street, and his body was found in the Schuylkill River the following April.
Police said he was shot multiple times in the head.
Sources tell Action News that 30-year-old Melanie Morat was arrested on Tuesday. She is facing multiple charges including murder, robbery and arson.
Action News has learned that three people are believed to have been involved in Maglio's killing, including a man and another woman.
Investigators said that man has since passed away.
