Results did show different real incidents, none of which match the scene pictured in the video.

Lead Stories searched Google News for the phrases, "emergency landing on highway" (archived here) and "plane landing on highway in georgia" (archived here). The results do not include a fiery crash landing of a large passenger jet on a rain-slicked Georgia highway as pictured in the video. There are several real incidents which top these search results, all small planes:
On Aug. 3, 2026, a small plane safely made an emergency landing on I-10 in Florida -- dramatic footage of the landing was captured by a trucker's dashcam.
A small World War II-era plane made a safe emergency landing on Highway 19 in Georgia on July 17, 2026.
March 13, 2026, a small plane landed on Highway 74 in Peachtree City, Ga. No injuries were reported.
In another Georgia emergency landing on Feb. 9, 2026, a small plane collided with several vehicles when it landed on Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville. Minor injuries were reported.
