Tacoma Police arrested an adult man Friday in connection with an Old Town homicide that occurred earlier that day.

At around 2:03 a.m., officers arrived at the scene in the 2100 block of North 30th Street, according to a Tacoma Police Department news release.

There they found a man with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.

While detectives were at the scene investigating, they were notified of another man who arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Further investigation gave detectives information that the man was connected to the shooting.

After being discharged from the hospital, he was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder and first degree robbery.
