Mega Millions winning numbers are in for the Friday, Aug. 7 jackpot of $70 million, more than a week after a lucky player in Florida took home a staggering $800 million jackpot with a cash value of $344.2 million.
There were 22,633 winning tickets in California, including several worth thousands of dollars, according to the California Lottery.
Californians hoping to strike it rich will get another chance: The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, Aug. 8 grows to $856 million with a cash option of $372 million, according to powerball.com.

The winning numbers: 17, 20, 32, 54, 57 and the Mega Ball: 23
No one won the Mega Millions jackpot, so the jackpot grows to $80 million with a cash option of $34.4 million.
