"Erie is a series of neighborhoods that were all ethnically settled," said Tim NeCastro, chairman of the St. Paul's Italian Festival. "Celebrating each of these heritages is really great, and Erie is such a great marketplace because its culture is so rich."

The festival wrapped up Sunday evening.
