3 wildfires burning near Clackamas River prompt Level 1 evacs around Harriet Lake

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Level 1 "Be Ready" evacuations are being issued for the area around Harriet Lake as multiple wildfires burn in the surrounding region.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said they issued the evacuations in coordination with the U.S. Forest Service. This comes as three wildfires are burning near the Clackamas River: The Austin Fire, the Mitchell Fire and the Narrows Fire.

The U.S. Forest Service listed some of the road and campsite closures due to the fires:

FR 46 is now closed between FR 63 and FR 4660.

FR 5830 is closed at the junction with FR 58.

Hideaway and Shellrock Campgrounds are closed
