"Juntos Otra Vez" Little Flower Catholic Church Kermes

We continue with the Kermes season with our next celebration at Little Flower Catholic Church! The fun will be all weekend long, starting at 5 p.m. at 171 Polo Inn Rd. Guests can expect music, family games, food, prizes and so much more!

El Paso Chihuahuas vs. Salt Lake Bees

The Chihuahuas will continue their homestand this weekend vs. the Salt Lake Bees, the affiliate of the Angels. You can catch all the action at cozy Southwest University Park!

Electronic artist and producer Zhu will make a stop in El Paso for his Zhu: On the Move tour, bringing his immersive audiovisual production and underground dance beats! Doors open at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 at The Elmont. Tickets start at $62 for GA and $101 for VIP.

The Consequences Band at Deadbeach Brewery

The high desert cosmic Americana band The Consequences is ready to jam out and serenade you with their multi-genre mixture of songs. Enjoy good food and good music from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 at Deadbeach Brewery. Admission is free.

Ready for a night of drama, laughs and a whole lot of pink with these performances of Mean Girls Jr.! Doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Rio Grande Theatre. You can't sit with us...unless you have a ticket, which goes for $15. Guests are encouraged to wear pink to show school spirit.

Patio Chats: "El Camino Real Trail" with Oona

Enjoy the scenic view and make some new friends with Patio Chats: "El Camino Real Trail" with Oona! The event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 at the A.B. Cox Visitor Center & Native Plant Garden at Dripping Springs Natural Area. All programs are free to attend, but guests have to pay a $5 vehicle fee. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own camp chair.

KTSM is continuing our Clear the Shelters campaign with a puppy adoption event! The free event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Household Furniture, located at 6601 S. Desert Blvd. In addition to the waived adoption fee, there will also be free microchipping from 10 a.m. to noon.

 Nationwide 'Clear the Shelters' campaign kicks off in El Paso 

Witches, wizards and everything magical in between, grab your broomsticks and fly over to the Harry Potter Festival! Step into a world of magic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, in Fort Bliss, at the corner of Cassidy and Marshall Road. Guests can expect local vendors, face painting, magical DIYs and a selfie station where you can rep your Hogwarts House! Entry is free but civilians must purchase a Community Access Pass to enter Fort Bliss.

915 Cards & Collectibles Hobby Havoc

915 Cards & Collectibles returns to the Coliseum for more cards, more collectibles and more fun with their Hobby Havoc! The event is scheduled from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. Entry is free, but guests have to pay $5 for parking.

Enjoy a night of spooky movies and scary monsters with the Horror Art Show & Market! The bloody fun will be from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the El Paso County Coliseum. Guests can expect a variety of vendors, food and horror trivia. Movies start at 8 p.m. and you can bring your own lawn chair or blanket!

Shop local in the heart of El Paso at The Market EP! Grab all of your favorite goods from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 in San Jacinto Plaza. Outside of the dozens of vendors, guests can also enjoy live music!

Step back in time and explore the historic copper prospecting mines with this Lantern-Lit Copper Mine Tour! The experience starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, and participants will meet at the West Cottonwood Springs Trailhead in the Tom Mays unit. A park ranger will show you a "turn-of-the-century guide" on the old mine shafts in the Franklin Mountains. Due to the size of the mine, only 14 participants are allowed per tour.

If you can't make it to the lantern tour, don't worry! The Franklin Mountains State Park also has a Prospect Mine Tour for those who want a less spooky experience. The tour kicks off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, and guests will meet at the Visitors Center in the Tom Mays Unit. There is a capacity of 10 people for the tour.

Enjoy a nice cup of tea in one of El Paso's most iconic landmarks! High Tea at The Dome Bar will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Hotel Paso Del Norte. War Eagles Air Museum: Flights and Sights

Take your next adventure to the skies with the War Eagles Air Museum Flights & Sights! Invite your family and friends to the event, from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, for a discovery flight of a Cessna 172, 182, or Piper Archer Aircraft and get a bird's-eye view of the area. Co-pilots must be at least 8 years old, and passengers must be at least 6 years old.
