One ticket won the Powerball jackpot worth $1.04 billion, with a cash value of $450.5 million, in the Wednesday, Aug. 12 drawing.
The jackpot starts over again at $20 million, with a cash value of $20 million for the Saturday, Aug. 15, drawing.
Here's where the winning ticket was sold.
The winning numbers in the Aug. 12 drawing were 4, 26, 66, 67, 69 and the Powerball was 9. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
The winning ticket was sold in Illinois. One other ticket sold in Massachusetts matched all five white balls and had the Power Play for a $2 million prize. Four others tickets sold in Arizona, California, Florida and North Carolina matched all five white balls for $1 million prizes.
The next Powerball drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026. The jackpot is an estimated $20 million, with a cash value of $8.7 million.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and can be seen live on the Powerball website.
Powerball costs $2 per play. The Power Play, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times, can be added for an additional $1 per play.
