IA, NE, SD (KCAU) — Severe weather moved through the region once again this morning, bringing more rain to the region.

Unfortunately, another round of showers and storms is possible tonight. A slight risk of severe weather is clipping the southeastern portions of the region. The biggest concerns for tonight are winds around 60 mph with a secondary risk of hail ~1″ in diameter.
More showers and storms are possible Friday as well, with a marginal risk of severe weather highlighting the southern portions of the region. Once again, the biggest risk for Siouxland is wind gusts around 60 mph.
Another marginal risk has been highlighted for southern Siouxland for Saturday as well, with wind being the main hazard once again.
Showers and storms are expected to continue off and on until Sunday morning. Drier conditions will move in for Sunday evening and Monday morning, though more rain will move in Monday night, through Tuesday, and into Wednesday morning.
Drier conditions will settle in for Thursday and Friday next week. Temperatures will continue to sit in the upper 70s to low 80s for the remainder of the forecast.
