Residents are being warned of a programme of electricity upgrade work in part of Guernsey.
Guernsey Electricity said the work at Route Militaire in the Vale and St Sampson area was "critical" to ensure the company could continue supplying a "secure and reliable supply".
Contractors were due to build a new distribution substation and lay new mains in Route Militaire, connecting them to the existing infrastructure in the Les Sauvagees and Saltpans Poad area.
The work was expected to start on 28 September and completed by 18 December, the electricity company said.

In a letter to residents, it said the first phase in Route Militaire should be completed by 26 October.
The second phase, in the Saltpans and Les Sauvagees area, involved the installation of low and high voltage and was due to finish on 13 November.
Service connection work was due to be completed on 18 December.
Guernsey Electricity apologised for any inconvenience the work would cause.
