MUNCIE, IN — Supplies, including cleaning products and nonperishable food, will be made available Saturday to those affected by this week's flooding at Second Harvest Food Bank, 6621 N. Old Indiana 3, and Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S. Burlington Drive.

Distribution at both locations will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday.

A drop-off site accepting donated items for flood victims has been set up at Cabin 2 in Heekin Park. It will be open until 3 p.m. daily, according to a news release from the city of Muncie.

An overnight shelter for those displaced by flooding continues to be operated at Grace Baptist Church, 6401 W. River Road.

Day shelters for the displaced are available at the Hub, 318 W. Eighth St.; the New Norm, 1127 S. Madison St.; and Price Hall, 704 S. Madison St.

Those in need of information — on "shelter, food, cleanup resources or other disaster-related services" — are asked to call 2-1-1, or visit 211.org.
