The 2026 Iowa State Fair is in full swing, and it's time for another day of fun.

Monday is another favorable weather day for Iowa State Fair attendees, with sunny skies and a high near 80 degrees. Monday night calls for mostly clear skies and overnight lows falling to around 64 degrees.

There are dozens of events each day of the Iowa State Fair, but we've picked a few to recommend for Monday:

Youth Piano Playing: 10 a.m. at Pioneer Hall

Veterans Day Parade: 11 a.m. at the Grand Concourse

Habitat for Humanity & Wells Fargo Ramp Build: 1 p.m. at Elwell Family Park

Adult Harmonica Contest: 1:30 p.m. at Pioneer Hall

Elvis Presley Tribute and Impersonation: 5 p.m. at Pioneer Hall

Staind will perform with special guest Hoobastank on Monday at the Iowa State Fair. Tickets are available now at iowastatefair.org and start at $54.40.

Monday at the Iowa State Fair will be a busy day at the Political Soapbox with six candidates scheduled to speak.

1:30 p.m.: Chris McGowan, Republican candidate for Iowa's 4th Congressional District

2:15 p.m.: Zach Nunn, Republican candidate for Iowa's 3rd Congressional District

4:30 p.m.: Paul Pate, Republican candidate for Iowa Secretary of State

5 p.m.: Mike Naig, Republican candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture

5:20 p.m.: Brenna Bird, Republican candidate for Iowa Attorney General

5:40 p.m.: Ashley Hinson, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate
