Several fire departments were dispatched Friday afternoon to a large fire in Preble County.
Firefighters battled the flames at a barn in the 5900 block of Orangeburg Road near New Paris about 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

According to the Preble County Sheriff's Dispatch, there were at least 10 different fire departments from Preble and Darke counties in Ohio, and Wayne County, Indiana.
Dispatch said that all of Orangeburg Road is closed and US 40 from 726 to State Route 320 is closed for an unspecified amount of time.
