A lawsuit over jurisdiction that the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation has been pursuing against Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse was dismissed Aug. 21.
U.S. District Judge Kathryn H. Vratil issued a decision dismissing the PBPN's claims.
Meanwhile, a stipulation of dismissal was filed by the two sides in the case, court documents show.
Vratil canceled a bench trial in the suit, which had been scheduled to begin Aug. 24.
