Three people were hurt after a shooting at a local park Thursday evening.

The shooting happened at McIntosh Park in the 800 block of Riverview Avenue around 7:15 p.m.

Two of the three injured were taken to the hospital.
"None of which are life-threatening. We developed suspect information. We were able to locate, with the help of witnesses, who the potential shooter was. We do have them in custody through interviews with other witnesses," DPD Lt. Clinton Evans said.
Evans added that officers found three firearms at the scene and they believe two were used in the shooting.
News Center 7's Amber Jenkins was on scene and saw crime scene tape blocking a shelter and evidence markers on the ground.
Our crews also saw police going through parked cars on the street.
The entire park was a crime scene.
"My son come over here to play basketball. I come over and chill with my friends. I ain't never had no animosity down here," David Luther, of Dayton, said.
Luther was one of the many people watching Dayton police search McIntosh Park for evidence.
He knew something serious happened when he saw first responders carry away people for treatment.
"It's a shame with the shooting and kids down here, I'm a parent myself. And I've warned my son constantly of things like this," Luther said.
This shooting remains under investigation.
