COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is offering several career opportunities with hiring events in Columbus and Phenix City.
From manufacturing to delivery driving to healthcare and beyond, Goodwill Industries says there will be a career opportunity for everyone.
According to Goodwill Industries, three hiring events will be available for residents to attend and explore the various job positions seeking to be filled.
All three hiring event times and locations can be found below:
Goodwill Career Center Midtown located at 2601 Cross Country Dr. Building B
Goodwill Phenix City Career Center located at 3605 US Highway 280/431 N
Goodwill Career Center Midtown located at 2601 Cross Country Dr., Building B
According to Goodwill Industries, anyone attending the Jackie Strong Logistics hiring event in Midtown must meet the following requirements:
Must be able to load and upload up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to flex to a 10 hour workday
Must be able to enter and exit a delivery van 50-250 times a day
Must be reliable and adaptable
Must be able to follow a route schedule
Must be able to consent to an Employment Pre-screen
Residents seeking employment with Jackie Strong Logistics can expect full benefits package after 30 days, a full-time delivery driver position and $21.50 an hour for a starting wage, according to Goodwill Industries.

Goodwill officials say all residents attending the Allegiance Staffing event in Phenix City must pass a background check and apply at Allegiance Staffing prior to attending the hiring event. Attendees can expect to see available positions in:
All available Allegiance Staffing positions are located in West Point, LaGrange and Pine Mountain, according to Goodwill.
Anyone attending the multi-employer hiring event in Midtown will be met by a variety of employers from Muscogee County School District, Muscogee County Clerk of Courts, W.T. Miller Demolition and Environmental Services and more.
All hiring event attendees are urged to bring their resume, dress professionally and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews with employers. Goodwill Industries encourages residents to choose the hiring event that fits their career goals.
