Police have charged a Jacksonville Fire and Rescue employee with sex crimes involving minors, including lewd behavior and sale of obscene material.
Joshua Kotsis, 30, of St. Augustine was arrested Friday in Marion County, according to documents from Marion County Sheriff's Office.
A Jacksonville fire spokeswoman said the department is investigating the case involving the "probationary firefighter, with less than six months in this role."
She said updates will be provided as the probe progresses.
