According to government figures from Kiev, Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea remain operational despite continued Russian airstrikes.
"Three to four ships enter and leave the Odessa area every day," President Volodymyr Zelensky said at a press conference in Kiev on Ukraine's Independence Day on Monday.
However, before the latest wave of Russian drone and missile attacks began, the ports handled three to four times the current volume.
Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotsky had previously repeatedly described the situation at Black Sea ports in the Odessa region as a total blockade.
Moscow stepped up its attacks in July following the start of Ukrainian strikes on ships carrying Russian oil and grain.
