LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A large police presence was seen near a home in a DeWitt Township neighborhood after the Clinton County Sheriff's Department confirmed that some "critters" were found, some "dead and some alive."


6 News was on the scene in King Arthur's Court at around 3 p.m. Tuesday and saw multiple Clinton County Sheriff's Office vehicles, including one from animal control.
A 6 News reporter witnessed a person in handcuffs being placed into the back of a Dewitt Township Police vehicle.
6 News spoke with Lt. Dan Spitzley, who said that the office received an anonymous welfare check call. Deputies are reportedly awaiting a search warrant before entering the home to remove the animals.
