EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) - Jury deliberations are now underway for an Evansville man accused of attempting to murder a man during a shooting on Adams Avenue in 2023.
The state state has rested its case against Jahkei Mitchell on Wednesday morning. The defense did not present evidence, and Mitchell did not testify.
Mitchell is accused of shooting Michael Wright in the torso back in June of 2023.
