(NewsNation) — Zymire Hughes was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday by USMS Nevada Violent Offender Task Force after triggering a nationwide manhunt.
Hughes is wanted in Philly after he was seen chasing people in a baby doll mask. At one point, Hughes followed a female jogger yelling, " Are you ready to die?"

"Zymire Hughes was wanted by @PhillyPolice for terrorizing citizens in Center City Phila.@USMS_Philly and the USMS Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested Hughes at 8pm in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is being held in the Clark County Detention Center waiting extradition back to PA," U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said in a statement posted to X.
Officials believe Hughes did this for social media content.
"You think it's funny to scare people?" said Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner on Sunday. "Well, get ready to get scared by us, because we got the handcuffs. We got the jail cell."
