FREDERICK, Md. (DC News Now) -- A death investigation is underway in Frederick County after a body was pulled from Carroll Creek on Wednesday.
Details remain limited, but the Frederick Police Department said officers were called at 3:45 p.m. to the Carroll Creek Linear Park after first responders located a body.
Firefighters battle house fire in New Carrollton
The individual has not been identified, and the cause of death remains under investigation.
Police said residents can expect police activity in the area and closures to areas of the park.
