The Downtown Detroit Partnership is hosting a Labor Day weekend celebration on Friday, Sep. 4, and Saturday, Sep. 5, at Campus Martius.
Friday festivities will go from 6-10 p.m., featuring a color guard ceremony, a live national anthem performance, and a presentation of "Gallantly Streaming," a new aerial public art installation above Campus Martius' lawn. The movie "National Treasure" will play on the park's screen at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the event runs from noon to 4 p.m. There'll be a DJ, a circus show, field games and a pie-eating contest among other family activities.
