EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) -- Injuries are being reported after two semi-trucks crashed and were "fully engulfed in flames" Saturday morning on I-70 in Effingham.
No injuries reported after car vs. bus crash in Macon County
In a release, Illinois State Police said at 10:33 a.m., its Troop 9 responded to I-70 westbound at milepost 90 near Effingham for the report of crash involving two semis. Both semis were engulfed in flames after the crash and State Police said injuries are being reported.
Both westbound lanes were initially shut down and one lane reopened at 11:48 a.m. There is no further information available at this time.
