FOND DU LAC – A 19-year-old man was arrested July 30 after Fond du Lac police said a home surveillance camera captured him approaching a residence in the 500 block of Rockrose Drive before leaving the area.
The incident happened about 10:17 p.m. July 22 and was reported to police the next day, according to the Fond du Lac Police Department.

Officers conducted an extensive investigation to identify and find the person in the video because of heightened concerns in the neighborhood, police said.
Several home entries and attempted home entries were reported in the area in February, police added.
Detectives obtained a nationwide, body-only felony bail jumping warrant July 30 for a 19-year-old Fond du Lac man in connection with the July 22 incident.
Officers and detectives executed a search warrant that morning at a residence in the 1600 block of Primrose Lane while trying to locate the man, police said. He was not found during the search.
The man voluntarily turned himself in at the Fond du Lac Police Department about 4:50 p.m. the same day, according to police.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on the active felony arrest warrant.

Lt. Nick Hahn said community reports help police respond quickly to neighborhood concerns.
"Ensuring the safety and security of our neighborhoods is our top priority," Hahn said in the release. "We appreciate the community's vigilance and willingness to share information, which plays a vital role in helping us respond quickly and effectively."
Residents can help deter suspicious activity by keeping exterior lights and security cameras working and reporting unusual behavior as soon as they notice it, Hahn said.
