Central Florida is in for another wet and stormy day on Tuesday as high humidity and abundant moisture fuel showers and thunderstorms.
A few storms could become strong, bringing gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph, frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall.
Downpours could lead to pockets of flooding, especially in areas that see repeated rounds of rain.
Unlike a typical summer pattern, some showers and storms could also move onshore during the overnight and early morning hours. We've already seen some of that activity again Tuesday morning.
Despite all the rain, it will remain hot and muggy.
Afternoon temperatures will generally stay in the 80s, while heat indices could climb into the triple digits.
This unsettled pattern is expected to stick around throughout the week, with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms.
