Flight cancellations and delays disrupted operations at multiple airports across the U.S.

New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport had the most delays of any U.S. airport Monday, reporting 50 delays, while New York's LaGuardia Airport reported 56 cancellations, according to flight tracker FlightAware.

American Airlines led U.S. carriers with 87 flight delays Monday, and United Airlines reported the most canceled flights of U.S. carriers with 22 cancellations.

Thunderstorms may delay or cancel flights at airports in New York (JFK, LGA, EWR), Philadelphia (PHL), Washington, D.C. (DCA, IAD, BWI), central and South Florida (MCO, MIA, FLL, TPA), Houston (IAH, HOU) and New Orleans (MSY), according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA also noted that there are low clouds forecast in Boston (BOS) and San Francisco (SFO), as well as wind in Las Vegas (LAS) that could disrupt flight schedules.
