Private equity real estate company Rockpoint and hospitality investment business Newbond Holdings have acquired Maren Fort Lauderdale, Curio Collection by Hilton in Florida, US.
The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Constructed in 2021, the 12-storey coastal property sits on a 0.8-acre site at 525 South Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
Rockpoint managing director Patrick Ryan said: "Hotel Maren is a high-quality beachfront property in a compelling submarket with attractive long-term fundamentals."
The venue comprises 141 guest rooms, all offering views of the ocean or intracoastal waterway. It features a fitness centre, an oceanfront swimming pool, a sun deck and retail outlets.
The hotel also includes dedicated spaces for meetings and private events, alongside several bars and restaurants.
The transaction builds on an established partnership between Rockpoint and Newbond Holdings. In September 2025, the two companies purchased the Westin Tampa Waterside.
Boston-headquartered Rockpoint and partner Newbond now intend to carry out upgrades to Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale's communal spaces and dining facilities.
Newbond Holdings founding partner Neil Luthra said: "Fort Lauderdale Beach continues to evolve as a destination, and we see tremendous opportunity in this particular stretch south of Las Olas.
"Hotel Maren is a recently built, oceanfront asset with oversized guest rooms, exceptional water views, and a location that we believe will become increasingly compelling as the surrounding area continues to attract significant investment.
"We look forward to partnering with Rockpoint on the acquisition of this asset and the opportunity to elevate its positioning in one of Fort Lauderdale's most dynamic micro-markets."
