Danville police are investigating a series of 14 robberies that occurred early Tuesday at a downtown shopping center, authorities said.
Officers responded on Tuesday to the Crossroads Shopping Center and the 100 block of Hartz Avenue after receiving reports of commercial and auto burglaries, said Heather Tiernan, a spokesperson for the town.
The incidents occurred between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Police are reviewing surveillance videos and other evidence to identify the suspects. No information has been released about the suspects.
"We are aware of similar incidents occurring in neighboring communities and believe they may be related to the incidents that took place in Danville," Tiernan said. She did not share which nearby cities had reported similar incidents.
Anyone with information can contact the Danville Police Department at 925-820-2144.
