Judge William F. Sullivan officially declared a mistrial in the weeks-long murder trial against Lindsay Clancy in Massachusetts on Sept. 4. Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, had filed an emergency stay, but the state Supreme Court denied the appeal. The mistrial comes after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict after seven days of deliberations.
