BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement shut down part of Interstate 65 in the Brentwood area of Williamson County following a vehicle crash Sunday morning.

Pedestrian dead after Davidson County crash

The crash was reported at approximately 5:56 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6 at mile marker 69.2, which is near the Moores Lane exit, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene and found a single vehicle crash.

The driver was injured and taken by ambulance to the hospital, according to THP officials. Their condition is not known.

Two of four southbound lanes near the accident were closed while the crash was cleared.

TDOT Smartway showed all lanes fully reopened by 7:00 a.m.
