ENFIELD - Police said there is no threat to the public after a man was stabbed on George Washington Road overnight.
Officers responded to the assault in the 300 block at 12:31 a.m. on Sunday, Enfield police said.
Police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Springfield, Mass. hospital. Police said the victim remains in stable condition following the incident.
As of noon, no arrests had been made in connection with the stabbing. Police said it is under investigation by detectives.
