ALABAMA'S 42 Live Streaming Weather Channel:
Weekend Outlook: A new cold front and low-pressure system will move across Alabama this weekend, bringing back humidity and unsettled weather. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and storms with the more widespread, stronger storms expected between 6pm and midnight.
A few storms could be strong to severe. SPC has placed most of Central Alabama in a Level 1/5 Marginal Risk for gusty winds. Heavy rain is possible, and totals could be over 1 inch. WPC has placed eastern Alabama in a Level 2/4 Slight Risk for flash flooding, and the rest of Central Alabama in a Level 1/4 Marginal Risk. It will be "cooler" with highs in the mid- to upper 80s.
The front will stall across South Alabama on Sunday, setting off spotty to scattered showers and storms, but they will not be as widespread. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 80s.
Next Week's Outlook: The front will linger and dissipate across Alabama on Monday and Tuesday. Each day will be partly cloudy, with a few showers and storms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90. Wednesday through Friday will be hot and humid, with a daily chance of pop-up storms. Highs will be in the lower 90s.
