MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating a domestic incident in which a man allegedly attacked and robbed a woman.

According to an MPD news release, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the 50 block of North Joachim Street.
Officers said they responded to a call about a domestic incident.
When officers arrived, they learned a male with a gun approached a woman, robbed her and physically attacked her.
The man and the victim reportedly knew each other. He fled from the scene before officers arrived.
MPD didn't release the identity of either the suspect or the victim.
