WINNECONNE – Three people were found dead inside a Winneconne home Friday evening after police and deputies responded to a medical incident and welfare check, Winnebago County Sheriff's Office said.
The Village of Winneconne Police Department, City of Omro Police Department and Winnebago County Sheriff's Office were dispatched about 6:58 p.m. July 31 to a residence in the 500 block of Division Street in the village of Winneconne.

Officers and deputies found three people dead inside the home, authorities said.
The Winneconne Police Department asked the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office to take over as the lead investigating agency because of the circumstances of the incident.

Investigators determined the deaths were part of an isolated incident based on evidence at the scene and information gathered during the investigation, authorities said.
Authorities said there is no danger or threat to the public.
No further information would be immediately released because the investigation remained active Aug. 1, authorities said.
The sheriff's office and Winneconne police were assisted at the scene by Omro police, the Winnebago County Medical Examiner's Office, Winneconne-Poygan Fire Department first responders and Lifestar-Southern Winnebago EMS.
