TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police have located a person of interest following a shooting in north Topeka that left two people dead.

A spokesperson for the Topeka Police Department (TPD) said in a press release Friday that investigators have identified and located a person of interest previously sought in connection with a deadly shooting in the 900 block of North Kansas Avenue on Thursday evening.

TPD has confirmed two people were killed in the shooting, but they have not released their identities or announced any arrests. The incident remains under investigation.
