A Millsboro man was arrested on numerous charges after a stabbing and police chase in Long Neck the night of Sept. 12.
Police responded to The Crab Barn restaurant on Long Neck Road around 9 p.m., where they learned a 44-year-old man had been stabbed by a 67-year-old man over a bar seat, a Delaware State Police news release said.
The victim was seriously injured and taken to a hospital, police said.
The suspect fled on a motorcycle before police arrived but was spotted on Indian Mission Road a short time later, according to police.

He fled from police who attempted to stop him, driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed, police said, before ultimately coming to a stop in Milton, where he was taken into custody.
Police "observed multiple signs of impairment" and took the suspect to a hospital for a medical issues, the release said.
After being released from the hospital, the suspect was charged with four felonies: first-degee assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, fourth-offense DUI and disregarding a police officer signal. He was also charged with resisting arrest and numerous traffic offenses.
He was committed to the Department of Correction on a $129,018 cash bond.
