Florida's Space Coast hosted a record-shattering 109 orbital rocket launches during 2025, soaring beyond all previous annual records.

Though this year's pace is falling short of that unprecedented cadence from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and NASA's Kennedy Space Center, 49 rockets still took flight from the Sunshine State through the end of July. For comparison's sake, 31 launches occurred during all of 2021 — which was enough to tie Florida's annual record back then.

The Cape's August launch schedule should feature the usual heavy diet of SpaceX's workhorse Falcon 9 rockets on Starlink and AST SpaceMobile missions. Blue Origin's massive New Glenn rocket explosion knocked that company's launches off the Eastern Range manifest for the foreseeable future, but a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will launch NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope in a high-profile scientific mission.

Following are the latest missions coming up from the Cape. All launches are listed in Eastern Daylight Time. But be aware: Dates and times routinely change for a wide variety of reasons.

Mission: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch AST SpaceMobile's BlueBird 11, 12 and 13 cellular broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit.

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, mostly assembled, at Goddard Space Flight Center in January 2025. The telescope is currently set to launch in October 2026, though researchers worry proposed budget cuts by the Trump administration could cancel the mission altogether.
