Summer isn't over yet, but Spirit Halloween is already embracing the spooky season, with more than a dozen locations now open in Michigan — and more on the way.
The seasonal Halloween retailer has 14 locations open across the state, with additional openings slated for August and into the fall season, according to its website.
Nationwide, Spirit Halloween plans to open the most stores in company history this year: a record-setting 1,575 stores compared to 1,546 stores in 2025 and 1,535 stores in 2024, Spirit Halloween director of PR Lori Tesoro told USA TODAY.
