The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok in Thailand has opened reservations for stays starting on 20 December 2026.
Located on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok's Bang Rak district, the hotel is centred on the old Custom House, which is currently being restored.
The building was originally established in 1888, during the reign of King Rama V, and was formerly seen as the country's gateway to the outside world.
The 75-room hotel will be operated by Langham Hospitality Group.
Its 60 guest rooms and 15 suites will be in a new building next to Custom House.
That new structure was designed by Thai architect Smith Obayawat, founder and principal of OBA.
Planned guest offerings include the Bangkok location of Hong Kong's three-Michelin-starred T'ang Court restaurant, other dining and drinking venues, and Chuan Spa, The Langham's wellness concept based on traditional Chinese medicine.
It will also include a fitness centre with Technogym's Sandstone collection, described as "the first installation of its kind" in Asia.
The hotel is also set within reach of several Bangkok destinations, including Asiatique The Riverfront, and Chinatown.
Transport options for guests will include private river trips.
Langham Hospitality Group CEO Bob van den Oord said: "For generations, Custom House served as Thailand's gateway to the world, and we are proud to see it preparing to welcome the world again as part of The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok.
"The hotel's guestrooms and suites, together with its world-class amenities, will offer an intimate and highly considered expression of luxury that reflects both the character of its remarkable site and The Langham's distinctive approach to hospitality."
In April 2026, Langham Hospitality Group signed an agreement with Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development to manage a new hotel in Jinan, Shandong province, China.
That hotel is scheduled to open in 2029.
"The Langham Bangkok opens bookings ahead of December launch" was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
