PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — For the 30th year, the Providence Bridge Pedal is taking Portlanders across the city's bridges.
The annual summer event invites participants to stroll or cycle, with routes including a 5-mile walk over the Fremont and Steel bridges and a 23-mile route dubbed the Fremont Express. Multnomah County officials have advised drivers that some bridges will be closed due to the festivities on Sunday.

The Hawthorne Bridge's south sidewalk, eastbound vehicular traffic, center westbound traffic and Southeast Water Avenue ramp will be closed from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Morrison Bridge's eastbound traffic lanes, Southeast Water Avenue ramp and Southwest Naito Parkway on-ramp will be closed from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
From 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the south sidewalk and bike lane on Sellwood Bridge will be closed as well. Multnomah County said pedestrians and bikers who aren't part of the Bridge Pedal will be detoured to the north sidewalk and bike lane.
All routes are expected to conclude by 12:30 p.m.
