DeKalb police said in a Sunday night update that a man who was shot several times earlier in the day has died of his wounds.
Police earlier said a man was shot and received serious injuries Sunday afternoon in the 2700 block on Evans Mill Road in Lithonia at around 1:40 p.m.
No arrests have been made in this active investigation.

Police said anyone with information can send an anonymous tip through the free DeKalb County PD app or by texting "847411" followed by the tip.
