CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The two people arrested last week in connection to a burglary happening at the home of a person found dead on Nottingham Drive in South Shreveport are now facing additional charges.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says new evidence obtained by a detective on August 10 points to Jeremy Young, 40, and Carly Ann Henderson, 30, being involved in the burglary of the victim's home on August 4.

The sheriff's office says the two also used the deceased victim's debit card at several businesses in South Shreveport.

Young was taken into custody on August 5, after being found in possession of the victim's Jeep at a truck stop off Louisiana Highway 1. The sheriff's office said that Young was driving the vehicle.

Henderson was booked on charges of criminal trespass and presenting fake identification to Caddo Deputies.

The two now each face an additional charge of burglary and five counts of access device fraud.

The Caddo Coroner's office has yet to formally identify the deceased victim.
