COSHOCTON − Six people were taken into custody following a drug raid by the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.

A search warrant was executed at approximately 7:21 p.m. Aug. 8, in the 500 block of South Eighth Street, according to a release from the sheriff's office. The warrant was related to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

As a result, six individuals were taken into custody and suspected narcotics, narcotic-related items and cash were confiscated.

Names of those arrested are being withheld pending the filing of formal charges. The case is under review by the Coshocton County Prosecutor's Office and the investigation remains active.
