A Philadelphia mother and father are facing charges in connection with the assault of their baby daughter, according to police.
Police say the child of 21-year-old Secret McCleve-Sar and 22-year-old Tyrone Jones was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia last weekend for multiple serious injuries.
According to court documents obtained by Action News, the 5-week-old girl suffered fractures to her skull, orbital bone, ribs and ankles.
Investigators say the parents left CHOP with the baby against the instructions from medical staff and the Department of Human Services.
The child's parents were arrested Sunday. Bail was set at 10% of $1 million for both suspects.
McCleve-Sar and Jones are facing charges, including aggravated assault, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and obstructing justice.
Police have not released further details on the investigation.
The infant is being treated at CHOP.
