GSP Resource has completed its 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling programme at its wholly owned Alwin Mine and Mer properties, located within the Highland Valley Copper Camp in south-western British Columbia, Canada.

The company drilled approximately 1,801m across eight holes, surpassing its planned range of 1,200 to 1,500m following decisions to expand and lengthen holes based on visual indicators of alteration and mineralisation in drill core.

All drill core has been logged and sampled, with specimens sent to ALS Canada in Kamloops for multi-element and precious metals analysis.

GSP expects to receive assay results in stages through the third quarter of 2026, with initial findings from the Alwin Mine anticipated first.

Drilling at the Mer property consisted of four holes totalling roughly 651m.

All holes intersected visible, near-surface copper mineralisation.

The campaign tested areas where previous percussion drilling had recorded intercepts such as 0.53% copper over 30m, as well as a 175 x 120m copper-in-soil anomaly identified by GSP's 2025 geochemical programme.

Among these, hole ME-26-04 was extended to 292.7m, making it the deepest hole completed at the Mer site to date.

GSP Resource CEO Simon Dyakowski said: "Based on the strength of visual indications of copper mineralization, our maiden drill program at Mer was a success.

"The programme was expanded beyond plan on the strength of the alteration and mineralisation logged in core, finishing with the deepest hole ever drilled at the property."

Drill core from the Mer property revealed fracture-related alterations including potassic, chloritic, and silicification types, with trace sulphide mineralisation observed throughout significant parts of hole ME-26-04, which ended in trace-mineralised granodiorite.

At Alwin, four step-out drill holes, totalling around 1,150m, were completed following the discovery of high-grade gold values in 2024.

Each hole encountered mineralised zones displaying characteristics similar to those identified previously and consistent with the company's geological model.

The Mer property covers 185ha and is situated approximately 1.5km northwest of the Alwin Mine, bordered by claims held by Teck Resources.

Assay results are expected to inform future exploration planning at the combined Alwin-Mer property area.
