ABC7 meteorologists are alerting of the next round of storms on Wednesday after the Chicago area was slammed with severe weather.
While the new risk is not as high as Tuesday's, meteorologist Tracy Butler says the area should not let their guard down.
Most of the Chicago area is under a Level 1 risk for severe weather. However, the south and southwest suburbs are under a Level 2.
The timing for the storms is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Strong winds will be the main threat, again.
